Scott Storck - Owner & Sales Professional

Scott has been with Bachmeier Carpet One since 1999. Scott has worked on large and small commercial projects, multi-family and residential housing. Scott and his brother Brad are now second-generation owners of Bachmeier Carpet One. In his off time, Scott volunteers for his local American Legion. He is a founding member of the non-profit, Iowa Veterans Outdoor Experience, an organization to get our disabled Veterans back outdoors and enjoy all it has to offer. Now as an owner, his duties have shifted but still enjoys working with customers and the sales side of the business.

Brad Storck - Owner & Sales Professional

Brad originally started as an installer with Bachmeier Carpet One on Sept. 11th 2001. Five years later, after a deployment to Iraq with the Iowa Army National Guard, he moved to a Sales Professional position within the company. His specialties have included residential sales, insurance claims, property management and small commercial. Brad is now the Co-Owner of Bachmeier Carpet One with his brother Scott. When Brad is not at Bachmeier’s, he is very involved in the veteran community serving as the Vice Commander of the Solon American Legion, the President of the American Legion Riders and Co-founder of Iowa Veterans Outdoor Experience. Brad still enjoys using his installation background to help his customers find their perfect floor.

Dennis Oetzel - Residential Sales Professional & Designer

Dennis has been with Bachmeier’s since 2013. Dennis specializes in new residential and remodel construction. With a design degree he can help you with any style from new and contemporary to traditional charm.

Kurt Means - Flooring Sales Consultant

Kurt has been a professional salesperson for 30+ years helping people with their needs. He was in real estate sales and property management for 15 years and then media sales for 15 years. Kurt specializes in residential projects from remodels to new construction. Kurt has a great eye, is knowledgeable, puts the customer first with great customer service, and will help guide you through the process of making your home beautiful and comfortable.

Kassie Morlan - Receptionist

Kassie is the welcoming face at the front desk. She has been our Receptionist since summer 2020. Her passion for perfection and kindness helps string the office together. She’ll help you with your initial questions, direct you to products, and help process payments. She is an Iowa City Native with a background at University of Iowa with a BA in the Fine Arts. In her spare time, she is enjoys film, being outdoors, thrifting, and making art.

Shana Kaska

Shana is an interior designer and custom furniture maker with a masters in fine art focusing on furniture design and sculpture. She has an additional background in painting and drawing. Her unique creative vision and love of color help guide customers through the design process and realize the potential of their living space. She continues to practice woodworking and furniture making and enjoys family time and being active within the community.
