Owner & Sales Professional
Scott has been with Bachmeier Carpet One since 1999. Scott has worked on large and small commercial projects, multi-family and residential housing. Scott and his brother Brad are now second-generation owners of Bachmeier Carpet One. In his off time, Scott volunteers for his local American Legion. He is a founding member of the non-profit, Iowa Veterans Outdoor Experience, an organization to get our disabled Veterans back outdoors and enjoy all it has to offer. Now, as an owner, his duties have shifted, but he still enjoys working with customers and the sales side of the business.

Brad originally started as an installer with Bachmeier Carpet One on Sept. 11th, 2001. Five years later, after a deployment to Iraq with the Iowa Army National Guard, he moved to a Sales Professional position within the company. His specialties have included residential sales, insurance claims, property management and small commercial. Brad is now the Co-Owner of Bachmeier Carpet One with his brother Scott. When Brad is not at Bachmeier’s, he is very involved in the veteran community, serving as the Vice Commander of the Solon American Legion, the President of the American Legion Riders and Co-founder of Iowa Veterans Outdoor Experience. Brad still enjoys using his installation background to help his customers find their perfect floor.

Residential Sales Professional & Designer
Dennis has been with Bachmeier’s since 2013. He specializes in new residential and remodel construction. With a design degree, he can help you with any style, from new and contemporary to traditional charm.
Residential and Commercial Sales
Derek came to Bachmeier in 2023 from Lowe’s, where he had been the Flooring and Home Décor Supervisor. The West High and U of I graduate has become a life-long retail and sales veteran, working with a variety of large and small companies, including opening the Scheels store in the Coral Ridge Mall in 1998. He is active in North Liberty city government, and also with the Iowa City Area Home Builder’s Association. Derek enjoys using his extensive product knowledge in both flooring and window treatments to provide unique and economical solutions for his customers.
